Bal speaks from the heart about how her belief turned to faith to a deeper understanding of spirituality.  In her words 'my darkest past is the greatest possession that I have today'.

Bal was born in India and came to the UK aged 1, forced into a marriage at the age of 17. Having fled the domestic/sexual abuse after over 8 years, she has subsequently been disowned by her family for over 22 years.
